Who is coaching for?
Aware with Words Coaching is for individuals or teams who want to:
- transform conversations
- build trusting work relationships and environments where employees and family members thrive
- create solutions that meet shared needs (rather than default to unsatisfying compromise)
- live and lead with greater authenticity (and find their voice)
- give and receive feedback in a life-enhancing way
- move through blocks to thinking and action
- gain greater clarity about where they are headed, and/or
- use the latest neuroscience to befriend their brain!
People who access our coaching are typically leaders in a range of private, public or non government organisations, or people who see themselves as future leaders. Our coaching is also accessed by private individuals.
Coaching outcomes
Many of our clients have changed work and personal relationships from "surviving" to "flourishing". Others have found their own authentic voice, or embraced their dreams of healthily managing a large project, writing a book, designing a training program or starting a business. Some have befriended long held fears and discovered ways out of "paralysis" and procrastination. Some have found the courage to leave situations that are not supporting them to flourish.
Ultimately coaching outcomes are in your hands, as you are the person who takes the discoveries and changes into your life. However, we design with you a coaching relationship that sets you up for success (as you define it for you). We richly support you be in the driver's seat of your life.
What you can expect during coaching
You can expect a partnership with your coach that takes into account your goals, unique needs, concerns and preferred ways of learning.
You can expect robust but playful questions and activities that support you to discover what's important to you, what's keeping you stuck, and what's possible for you - beyond what you currently imagine. There will be times of stillness and times of stretch and challenge.
Your coach will support you to take action by designing with you a process to keep you accountable to you!
Coaching sessions: Frequency and length
Initial sessions are weekly then moving to fortnightly or even monthly, depending on your needs. Coaching sessions are typically one hour but can also be 30 or 90 minutes.
What coaching is not
Coaching is not therapy. Our focus is less on healing the past (requiring the expertise and support of qualified counsellors and psychologists) and more on what’s occurring in the present and creating a way forward. Where we believe you would benefit more from work with a counsellor or psychologist, we will let you know that and support you to find the professional you need.
Aware with Words provides coaching for both organisations and individuals.
