Aware with Words in Conversation: Practice Groups
Who attends practice groups: People who attend practice groups have typically completed an Aware with Words in Conversation Foundation program or another Foundation program in Compassionate (Nonviolent) Communication. They are wanting a safe, respectful and confidential space where they can practice having conversations that result in more meaningful connection in a range of day-to-day situations.
Program outcomes: Participants typically gain greater confidence, playfulness and fluency in empathic conversations and sink deeper into an awareness of what gets in the way. They find their voice.
Program structure: Aware with Words offers practice groups as needed or as resources allow, refers people to existing practice groups (offered by our friends and colleagues) or supports you to start your own practice group. Practice groups vary in content, often according to the needs of participants. They are a wonderful opportunity to slip and slide, stumble, repeat… whatever it is that supports your connection.

Aware with Words Communication Training programs are offered in organisations and in the wider community.
