Program content: This program is based on the work of Marshall B. Rosenberg and the Center for Nonviolent Communication, and C-IQ (Conversational Intelligence). It is designed as 4 x 3 hour modules – and can be adjusted to best meet the availability of participants. All modules are highly practical and interactive. They also come to understand what role their brain is playing in their habitual responses and how to work with the way the brain for greater self care.
- Module 2: From Attacking to Needing
Participants explore the needs lurking beneath self attacks, attack on others or “shutting down”. They discover how to generate multiple strategies to meet a need - and then choose one.
- Module 3: Stepping Forward to Connect
With awareness, self connection and choice in place, participants experiment with full presence listening or compassionate honesty - in a way that addresses shared needs.
- Module 4: Walking the Talk
