Transforming Our Conversations: Introductory Webinar 2021

October 12, 2021 @ 7:00 pm > 8:30 pm AEST

A 90 minute introduction to Compassionate/Nonviolent Communication. Numbers limited to 16. Check here if you’d enjoy booking for the next 6 week Foundation series.

Invitation

I invite you to take some time out and join me online to explore how you might make the shifts you’d love in your conversations and relationships – at home, at work, in your local community.

The link to launch the webinar will be sent to you before the event

Who is this webinar for?

  • Anyone who’d love more satisfying conversations – at home, at work, in the world!
  • Coaches, counsellors, teachers, communication and health professionals….

What will we cover?

Drawing on Marshall Rosenberg’s Nonviolent Communication, the latest neuroscience about conversations and examples from our own life experience we will explore:

  • What kinds of conversations (and connection) we’d love to be having.
  • What works well/not so well for us in the conversations we have.
  • What gets in the way of satisfying conversations and relationships.
  • Practical steps for creating the conversations we’d most enjoy.

We will also use Compassionate (Nonviolent) Communication to look at an example of how we might fully hear what matters to another person, while managing our own needs for safety and connection. You will leave the webinar with some clear steps you can take to begin to transform your conversations.

I will end the webinar by briefly sharing resources you might use to explore this work further and providing details of an online Foundation Training (Transforming Our Conversations) which I will be offering over 6 Wednesday evenings in May-June, 2021.

How I Support Your Needs for Learning

I will guide us through a set of gentle activities: self-reflection and journaling, some sharing with a partner (if you choose) and some group discussion. You choose what involvement in the session best meets your needs for safe and inspiring learning.
